Many of you already know that our upcoming Lake Hopatcong Block Party features vendors (over 200 of them!), free family fun (like boat rides, games, a scavenger hunt, and Passport Adventure program!), and entertainment (from An Clár School of Irish Dance, PJ Simonis of Raptor Resource, Eyes of the Wild, and more!).
However, you may not know that the Block Party also features mobile Motor Vehicle Commission (MVC) services, courtesy of the State of New Jersey. That’s right! You can visit the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission’s Agency-on-Wheels to renew a registration, get a duplicate title, or even update to a REAL ID!
Registering for an MVC appointment secures your spot. Use the link below to register. You’ll start by selecting the desired service, and from there, choose Morris, Roxbury, Hopatcong State Park as your location. Then, select your time slot. Be sure to bring the required supporting documents with you, as outlined on the MVC website.
REGISTER FOR AN MVC APPOINTMENT
Bonus: updated and replacement Boater Safety Certificates will be obtainable from the NJ State Police Marine Services, which will be next to the MVC mobile unit (no appointment necessary). A NJ driver's license or other government ID is needed to process.
We’re looking forward to welcoming the Motor Vehicle Agency-on-Wheels, and you, on Saturday, May 18!
