Do you have a talent for repairing watches, bikes, woodworking, electronics, jewelry, or sharpening knives? If so, we’d love your help! The Lake Hopatcong Foundation is excited to partner with the Roxbury Library and Roxbury Recycling to help host the Roxbury Repair Cafe.
For those who aren’t familiar with repair cafes, they are community events where people bring broken items—whether it's tools, electronics, or household objects—and skilled volunteers help fix them, all at no cost! Repair cafes are a wonderful way to bring the community together, offer a helping hand, meet new people, and possibly learn something new.
But the benefits don’t stop there! Repairing items instead of tossing them into the trash reduces waste and helps keep things out of landfills. It's an environmentally friendly way to give new life to old items, all while promoting sustainability and strengthening our community.
The Roxbury Library will be coordinating with interested fixers. If you're interested in volunteering your time and skills to help your neighbors—whether it's woodworking, bike repairs, watch maintenance, kitchen appliance upkeep, or any skills listed below—please fill out Roxbury Library’s form below. We can’t wait to see you there!

On the other hand, are you interested in being a participant in the Roxbury Repair Cafe because you have something that needs to be fixed? We appreciate your enthusiasm! More details will come about this event as it develops.
