Making a Difference Together: Volunteer at Lake Hopatcong

As the days grow longer and the promise of spring approaches, we’re gearing up for an exciting season full of activities and opportunities to enjoy and care for Lake Hopatcong. From outdoor cleanups and scenic hikes to educational programs, a native plant sale, student field trips, and our much-anticipated Lake Hopatcong Block Party, there’s plenty to look forward to in the months ahead!

One of the highlights of our busy spring season is reconnecting with our incredible volunteers after the quieter winter months. Before things kick into high gear, we’d like to invite all past volunteers—and anyone interested in getting involved—to join us for our 2025 Volunteer Orientation!

This is a great opportunity to reconnect with fellow volunteers and learn about ways to get involved this year. Whether you’re interested in assisting with events, maintaining trails, tackling invasive species, or joining educational cruises, there are countless ways to make a positive impact. We’re so grateful for your support in helping us protect and enhance our lake and community.
