As we forge our way into a new year, the Lake Hopatcong Foundation Student Leadership Team is gathering for their third meeting, in order to continue planning projects that support and protect New Jersey’s largest lake. Projects will include such efforts as beach cleanups, invasive species prevention, nature trail maintenance, local science research, and educational seminars. The LHF Student Leadership Team is an effort spearheaded by Meghan Craig of the Morris County Environmental Science Academy at Jefferson Township High School and is made up of students in middle school, high school, and college who are interested in working together on behalf of Lake Hopatcong.
All are invited to attend this meeting on Wednesday, February 12, from 6:30 to 7:30 pm at the Lake Hopatcong Foundation Environmental & Cultural Center (125 Landing Road, Landing, NJ). We would love to have representation from all four towns around the lake (and beyond!), so we hope to see many returning and new faces!
If interested, join google classroom: WQI4AP.
