Lake Hopatcong Foundation Scholarships
The Lake Hopatcong Foundation offers two $1,000 scholarships annually, each awarded in two possible categories which relate to the work of the Lake Hopatcong Foundation and its mission. The scholarships are one-time gifts, given to a senior in high school who is a resident (year-round or seasonal) of one of the four towns that surround Lake Hopatcong and has been accepted to an accredited college, university, or trade school. Since 2015, LHF has awarded $8,000 to eight high school seniors, investing not only in our youth’s education, but also in the future of Lake Hopatcong and other valuable freshwater resources.
Past recipients have come from all four surrounding lake towns and have used their scholarships to assist in obtaining degrees in environmental science, marine biology, environmental law, hospitality management, business, finance and marine engineering!
