Wine & cheese at 100-year-old Louis Kraus home

September 02, 2020| Events, Fundraising

By: Roberta Schmidt

Sitting at the water's edge, near the former entrance to Bertrand Island Amusement Park, you'll find the beautiful Poskitt family estate. Renovated in 2019, this majestic home sits on the shores of King Cove in Mt. Arlington, New Jersey. In the early 1920's it was the beloved home of Louis Kraus, the former owner of Bertrand Island Amusement Park.

Now celebrating 100 years, we have an exciting opportunity for a limited number of guests to tour this exceptional property and see how it has transformed over the years into a multi-generational home with an elevator. The tour will take place on Sunday, October 4, 2020, at 3 pm and will nclude wine & cheese overlooking Lake Hopatcong! Masks will be required.

This unique experience was generously donated by Liz and Kyle Poskitt for our virtual gala and auction. As about twenty tickets remain, we are offering it to our readers for a limited time!

Tickets for this exciting opportunity are $50 each and limited seats are available. Please call 973-663-2500 or email roberta@lakehopatcongfoundation.org to check current availability and reserve your spot. Payment can be made by check or credit card.
