The NJ Boat Regulation Commission will once again be holding its July meeting on Lake Hopatcong. Members of the public are welcome to attend the meeting on Wednesday, July 10, at 10 am, at the Lake Hopatcong Yacht Club, 75 North Bertrand Road, Mount Arlington.
The NJ Boat Regulation Commission disseminates rules and regulations for the protection of the health, safety, and welfare of the public in such areas as inspection, operation, equipping, anchorage, racing, and safety of vessels upon New Jersey waters.
The Lake Hopatcong Foundation advocated for one of the Commission's six annual meetings to be held in the northern part of the state (most occur down the shore). We are appreciative that this will be the third year their July meeting has been held at Lake Hopatcong (their 2020 July meeting was canceled due to COVID). Thanks as well to the Lake Hopatcong Yacht Club for providing a venue.
