Which view of Lake Hopatcong is your favorite? Do you prefer being on the water, exploring nature up close, or taking in panoramic views from vantage points above? Whatever your preference, mark your calendar for Sunday, October 6, 2024, and join our annual Lake Loop. The Lake Loop offers a wonderful chance to unwind and escape the everyday hustle while connecting with nature. Whether you bike, hike, or paddle, this event promises excitement, camaraderie, and memorable views.

For those who are drawn to water’s serenity, we have a delightful 2.5-mile paddle on Lake Hopatcong for you to enjoy from the comfort of your kayak, paddleboard, or canoe. Tandem kayaks are also welcome. This event is designed for the avid paddler or the casual enthusiast, offering a perfect blend of relaxation and excitement.

The course is marked with yellow buoys, guiding you as you paddle across tranquil waters on a scenic route that takes you to Bertrand Island, passes King Cove, and returns to Hopatcong State Park. Adding a layer of safety and security, marshals will be present to patrol the course and provide directions as needed.

No kayak? No problem! We’ve partnered with Ramsey Outdoor to offer a limited number of kayaks for rent. When you register, you can secure a kayak rental that will be waiting for you on the beach, ready to launch.
