The Lake Hopatcong Block Party is right around the corner! On Saturday, May 20, Hopatcong State Park will become our lakeside “town square,” featuring nearly 200 vendors, a variety of food trucks, entertainment, children’s activities, boat rides, and more! The Block Party attracts thousands of visitors, so if you’re wondering “Where do I park?” Read on! We’ve got you covered with all you need to know to plan ahead.
First, a quick note for those who like to arrive early, please note the gates will not be opened to the event until 9:45 am so vendors and volunteers can safely and efficiently complete Block Party setup.
There will be EIGHT parking options at and near the Lake Hopatcong Block Party – the closest of which is onsite at Hopatcong State Park, for a $10 donation to the Lake Hopatcong Foundation. The other seven are free, and free shuttle service will be provided.
As dogs are not permitted on the shuttles, guests who come with a canine friend must park either on site at Hopatcong State Park or at our off-site “barking lot” at Full Life Christian Fellowship Church, which is within walking distance of the park. This lot will only open when the lot at Hopatcong State Park fills to capacity.

Please Be Safe
Please be cautious when driving in and near Hopatcong State Park on May 20. The Block Party can cause occasional congestion around the area, and we ask everyone to be patient and mindful of pedestrians and fellow motorists.
Thank You
A HUGE thanks to all the above for working with us to make the Block Party as accessible as possible. With help, we’ve created and maintained more parking options for guests than in years prior. And we’re especially grateful for the participation of the town leaders and bus drivers for providing complimentary shuttle services for guests. Finally, thank you to the Roxbury Police Department, the New Jersey State Park Police, Live the Lake NJ, and all of the volunteers for their assistance with traffic management and safety.
