Live Entertainment

10 am ~ Joe Biglin ~ Lake Hopatcong resident, Joe Biglin, has been a fixture of the local music scene for over a decade. Primarily a pianist, playing in original groups, he occasionally enjoys going solo, grabbing the guitar and performing sentimental, sorrowful, sassy or sweet renditions of his favorite songs, as he will to kick off this year’s Lake Loop.

11 am ~ Eddie and Erick ~ A familiar face to North Jersey original music for over 20 years, Eddie Kamenitzer has a sound that roots from a soulful folk singer-songwriter. With influences of Rock and R&B, the lyric has always been his forefront. Over the years you may have seen him perform solo or in original NJ bands such as Soda 75, Coventry Road or The Radio Galaxy.

12 pm ~ Byrdgrass (2 sets) ~ In 2008, a few veterans of the North Jersey music scene decided to get together to play some music and have a little fun….and Byrdgrass was born. That energy is contagious to the audiences who have welcomed Maribyrd, Randy Artiglere, Tim Dempsey, Seth Mandel, and John Christie to stages throughout New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. With nothing but fun and great music in mind, they are winning over new fans everywhere they go. Dynamic harmonies and byrd’s unique vocals, backed by various traditional acoustic instruments, blended with electric guitar and drums make Byrdgrass a one of a kind band.

Proceeds from the event will go toward the Lake Hopatcong Foundation’s programs and initiatives aimed at improving Lake Hopatcong for all, now and in the years to come.
