Ladybugs… pinecones… spider webs… there’s so much to experience when you’re out in nature. Head out for a hike this weekend, in honor of National Trails Day, and take the time to appreciate what you see, hear, smell, and feel. Check off the items on the scavenger hunt list that you discover on your hike and add some additional items that you find along the way. Happy National Trails Day and Happy Hiking!

Group trail hike
Join us for a group trail hike, tomorrow, June 1, with Girl Scout Troop 96064. The Scouts will be celebrating National Trails Day with us by sharing information about trail history, hiking safety, and first aid (with assistance from the Hopatcong Ambulance Squad). They will also be providing snacks and painting rocks for Kindness for Christopher.
The day will begin at 2:00 pm at the Hopatcong Senior Center, with a guided hike, led by Cliff Lundin, starting at 2:30. The hike will be approximately 45 minutes and is moderate in difficulty. Find out more HERE.
