What a Great Night!

It was a sell-out crowd of 250 in the Parish Hall of St. Jude Church in Hopatcong for the old-fashioned beefsteak dinner last Saturday. Attendees enjoyed a wonderful meal cooked up by Hap Nightingale Catering of Clifton, took home some great prizes from the basket raffle and 50/50 and saw a presentation on the Lake Hopatcong Station and its history.

Our sincerest appreciation for the tremendous support from the lake community for donating the prizes for the evening which featured many aspect of lake life – fishing, boating, dining, and more.

We were also pleased to have such a broad cross section of the lake community in attendance including elected officials, Lake Hopatcong Commission members, museum members, Knee Deepers, Antique Boaters, and residents of all four towns.

A special shout out to our 19 incredible volunteers who all worked hard to ensured the evening was a huge success.

Everyone left full and smiling.  What a great evening for Lake Hopatcong!

Proceeds from the evening will benefit the Lake Hopatcong Foundation and the ongoing restoration of the Lake Hopatcong Station which originally opened in 1911 and will soon serve as the offices for the Lake Hopatcong Foundation as well as a community and information center.
