“Fight Invasives, Go Native” Gardening Presentation on April 20

RutgersMasterGardenerHow can you tell which plants should be in your garden, and which plants shouldn’t? On April 20, a Rutgers Master Gardener will introduce you to the ten most common invasive plants found in Morris County and various methods for their removal, as well as suggestions and descriptions of native plants that can be substituted for them. We are looking forward to hosting this presentation from the Rutgers Master Gardeners Speakers Bureau at our office (37 Nolan’s Point Park Road, Lake Hopatcong) at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 20. This free presentation will run about 40 minutes, plus time for questions and answers. Please RSVP by calling our office at 973-663-2500 or emailing jess@lakehopatcongfoundation.org. Hope to see you there!

(And save the date for our next gardening presentation on June 8, which will focus on how to plant gardens that are great for pollinators!)
