A photography exhibit where every image tells a story! The Jefferson Arts Committee (JAC) is embarking on a new project in June to exhibit the photography of local adults giving them an opportunity to display their talent and offering the public a chance to enjoy their work.
Adults who reside in Jefferson Township are invited to exhibit their photographs at the White Rock Lake Park’s Clubhouse (aka: The Pavilion), 42 White Rock Boulevard in the Milton/Oak Ridge section of Jefferson Township.
There will be an opening reception on Thursday, June 12 from 7pm to 9pm where the public can meet the photographers and view their work. Additional dates for public viewing are Friday, June 13 from 4pm to 8pm and Saturday, June 14 from 12 noon to 4pm.
Admission and parking are free on all dates.
Those interested in being considered to display in the exhibit can contact the JAC at artscommittee@jeffersonarts.org or by phone at 973-953-3798 or 973-697-3828 with any questions and be emailed an application form. APPLICATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED BY THURSDAY MAY 29 TO BE ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE.
Entries accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis, a maximum of three entries with a maximum size of 24”x30” and a weight limit of 15 lbs. allowed per participant as space is limited, color or monochrome welcome, framing is encouraged and must be securely wired and ready for hanging. The JAC has the right to refuse any artwork that may be deemed inappropriate for this family-friendly exhibit.
