Annual Musconetcong River Cleanup

On Saturday, April 14, from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm, the Lake Hopatcong Foundation will be leading the Hopatcong State Park location of the 26th Annual River Cleanup.  We will meet at Hopatcong State Park at 9:00 am.

This annual river cleanup, organized by the Musconetcong Watershed Association (MWA), brings hundreds of volunteers to various locations along the Musconetcong River from Lake Hopatcong all they way down to the Delaware River Confluence.  Trash and recycling bags, gloves, water, granola and a commemorative t-shirt are provided and the MWA hosts a BBQ afterwards at their River Resource Center (10 Maple Avenue, Asbury, NJ) to thank everyone for their hard work!
