All aboard for an exciting new chapter for the LHF!

Lake Hopatcong Train Station 1911Today was a VERY exciting (and a little bit scary) day for the Lake Hopatcong Foundation!

After much deliberation and many months of preparation, discussion, and paperwork (there’s always paperwork…), the foundation has officially purchased the Lake Hopatcong Train Station building in Landing!

Our goal for the building is for it not just to serve as our office and meeting place, but also for it to serve as a community center, with regular exhibits, lectures, and events throughout the year for the Lake Hopatcong community. So today is a huge day in the young life of the Lake Hopatcong Foundation!

Check out more details here.

Donate to the capital campaign here. (More details to come on that in the coming days, too!)

And here are several photos taken on this momentous day!
