A Floating Friendraiser

Our Friendraisers are off to a great start for 2017! A “Friendraiser” is an opportunity to dine with friends, neighbors and colleagues while raising awareness and funds for the Lake Hopatcong Foundation. Instead of bringing a beverage or a dessert, guests make a contribution to Lake Hopatcong Foundation.

The guest list, theme and menu are entirely up to you. A Friendraisers could be a dinner, BBQ, cocktail party, luncheons, murder-mystery evenings, birthday bashes, casino events, retro parties, ladies’ nights, paint and sip parties and other themed evenings.

The Kerrison’s decided to host their Friendraiser upon Lake Hopatcong Cruises “Miss Lotta.” Friends and family joined them for a two-hour cruise with Lake Hopatcong historian, Marty Kane, providing little historical nuggets as they traveled around the lake.

“We were thrilled to have had our family and friends join us on a wonderful cruise on Miss Lotta. What made this even more special was that we raised money for the Lake Hopatcong Foundation – a cause we care deeply about to preserve and develop the lake for all to enjoy,” said Tony. “Thank you to all those who donated and the Foundation for all they do.”

The LHF Foundation wishes to thank Tony and Sharon and all of their guests for supporting the work that we do.
