Please join us on Thursday, December 10, at 12:30 pm for the eighth and final presentation this year in our “Thirst for Knowledge” lunch-and-learn webinar series, "Controlling HABs at Lake Hopatcong” hosted by Dr. Fred Lubnow, Limnologist and Director of Aquatic Resources at Princeton Hydro. Dr. Lubnow will provide updates on several of the Harmful Algae Bloom (HAB) management projects underway at Lake Hopatcong funded through a NJDEP grant awarded to the Lake Hopatcong Commission in partnership with the Lake Hopatcong Foundation.
Dr. Lubnow’s areas of expertise include aquatic and watershed management, restoration ecology, community and ecosystem ecology, and the identification/management of Harmful Algal Blooms. As Director of Aquatic Resources, he manages a variety of lake and watershed restoration projects.
Our "Thirst for Knowledge” lunch-and-learn webinar series was created to share information and discuss topics of interest to our lake community.
