Launched in 2012, the Lake Hopatcong Foundation aims to improve and enhance the lake experience and environment. In addition to initiating projects, the foundation provides financial support toward efforts undertaken by other lake organizations. Projects range from invasive species prevention to lake education to improved safety, and more. The simple goal is to improve Lake Hopatcong for the enjoyment of everyone, now and in the years to come. The opportunities and methods to accomplish that are as far-reaching and diverse as the lake itself.
In 2014, the Lake Hopatcong Foundation purchased the historical Lake Hopatcong Train Station in Landing, and we are in the process of rehabilitating the building to become an environmental and cultural center as well as our home base. Learn about the purchase here and donate to our capital campaign here.
The LHF is an IRS-registered 501c3 nonprofit organization, and all donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.

And if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to call our office at 973.663.2500 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Or stop by! We’re located at 37 Nolan’s Point Park Road in Lake Hopatcong (the door to the left of the Lake Hopatcong Golf Club kiosk). We will be sure to let the world know when we move into our new space at the Train Station in Landing, but for now, we’re enjoying our lakefront digs.
